Why did I receive a bill?

Receiving a bill can be confusing, so here’s a breakdown of the process. After your visit with a One Behavioral specialist, we generate a detailed bill reflecting the services you received. Each visit has a standard cost negotiated by your insurance company. We submit the bill directly to your insurer, who then reviews your coverage and decides what portion they will cover (One Behavioral has no influence over this decision; it’s solely based on your insurance plan). Your insurer will also send you an Explanation of Benefits (EOB), outlining their decision. Based on this, your insurer will inform us of the amount you are responsible for, which could be a copay, coinsurance, or the full amount if you haven’t met your deductible.
